If “Hardworking But Fun” was a place, you have arrived!  I’m Kacie, a native to New Mexico, but lover of traveling and exploring our amazing world. I grew up in Southern New Mexico, but have had the privilege of living in England and traveling  to several different countries and a large number of States in the US. Traveling all over the world has given me a great perspective on people, culture and home. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories of how they choose Las Cruces as their new home, what has made Las Cruces their only home, or why they are packing up and relocating. 
 

I am living my best life with my husband and 4 kids. Together we have a blended family and love to go on hikes, the mountains, camping and vacations! My kids would choose an adventure over things any day, and in my books, that is a huge parenting win! 
 

The mountains are my happy place. If my soul needs a reset, I will be traveling to Cloudcroft for the weekend for the crisp mountain air, and the lack of cell service. I hate the cold, so this desert living is for me, and if I had to choose a place to vacation, it would involve a beach and sunshine. 
 

I don't watch much tv, and cannot quote movies like my husband, but I have binge watched every episode of Friends a hundred times over, Schitts Creek, The Bridgertons and always enjoy baking shows and documentaries!
 

One day you will see me on Nailed It, the baking show where home cooks think they can bake, but it will be the ugliest thing you have ever seen……I love baking, but it's not always the prettiest thing to look at. 
 

Last but not least, my daily source of happiness happens in the gym lifting heavy weights and trying to lift heavier than the day before.
